Manfred was bron on may 2nd 1892 in Breslau Germany. He flew from March 1916 to April 1918. He was a pilot during the first World War. His nickname was the Red Baron. He was known for his 80 confirmed kills during the war. That was more kills than any other pilot. His most famous way of over taking someone was to fly downwards toward them with the sun at his tail. This gave him an elevation and visibility advantage.
